Recently, the 2026 Cross-Border E-commerce Talent Development Forum was successfully held at Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade. The forum was jointly organized by the China Association for Trade in Services, Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade, and the China Cross-Border E-commerce 50 Forum, and hosted by the Jiangxi E-commerce Association.

As a leading representative enterprise in the cross-border e-commerce industry, Newegg was invited to attend the forum and engaged in in-depth discussions with distinguished guests on new pathways for talent development, industry–education integration, and the construction of a new ecosystem for cross-border e-commerce talent cultivation.

The forum was attended by a number of government and industry leaders, including Zhong Zeyu, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association for Trade in Services; Du Guochen, Director of the E-commerce Research Institute at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Commerce); Chen Changsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce; Yan Bin, Party Secretary of Jiangxi Vocational College of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade; Zhang Rongxin, Deputy Director of the Open Development Bureau of Ganjiang New Area; and Jiang Qisheng, President of the Jiangxi E-commerce Association.

In his opening remarks, Chen Changsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce, noted that cross-border e-commerce, as a new form of foreign trade, plays a vital role in driving trade transformation and upgrading, as well as promoting the dual circulation of domestic and international markets. To further enhance the development of cross-border e-commerce, he emphasized the need for coordinated efforts across digital empowerment, platform development, channel optimization, and logistics system construction. He stressed that talent is the key driver of industry growth and expressed hope that the forum would serve as a platform for exploring new talent development models and advancing the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem in Jiangxi.

As a representative of the cross-border e-commerce industry and a pioneer in intelligent cross-border innovation, Newegg delivered a keynote speech titled “Winning Opportunities Through Digital Intelligence, Shaping the Future Through Talent.” The presentation highlighted Newegg’s latest AI-driven innovations, including the SellingPilot system, intelligent warehousing and logistics solutions, and one-stop global expansion services, while also showcasing Newegg’s talent-centric and innovation-driven corporate philosophy.

In the afternoon, the forum featured two parallel sessions: the Cross-Border E-commerce Talent Development Forum and the Seminar on the Construction of Cross-Border E-commerce Talent Standards Systems. As a high-quality cross-border e-commerce platform, Newegg was invited to participate, during which it shared its talent demand profiles and engaged in discussions with participants on talent development frameworks and school–enterprise collaboration models. These efforts aim to empower high-quality university talent to achieve successful role transformation and to accumulate valuable experience for the future of China’s cross-border e-commerce industry.
