Alert Rule
Feature Introduction
Inventory Alert is an intelligent inventory management tool provided by SP, supporting two core alert modes to help accurately monitor inventory status. You can either customize inventory alert thresholds based on your own operational experience and historical data, or use AI intelligent alerts to automatically identify inventory risks and send notifications based on historical sales volume, market trends, and seasonal changes. Without the need for frequent manual monitoring, it can effectively avoid stockouts or inventory backlogs, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of funds.
This feature operates through the method of "creating alert rules + associating products", adapting to various scenarios such as regular inventory control, seasonal stock preparation, and promotional activity stock preparation, flexibly meeting different operational needs.
Feature Entry
After logging into the SP system, click 「Warehouse > Inventory > Alert Rule」 in sequence to enter the main function page.

The main function page includes two core modules: - Alert Rule List: Used to create, edit, and delete alert rules, allowing configuration of core settings such as alert thresholds and application objects. - Alert Product List: Used to view details of products with configured inventory alerts, centrally displaying various inventory data and alert statuses.
Usage Guide
Step 1: Create Alert Rules (Alert Rules List Module)
Click 「Create Rule」 and follow the steps below to complete rule configuration. Both rule types can be enabled simultaneously:

- Fill in Basic Information
- Enter a rule name (e.g., "Summer T-shirt Safety Inventory Alert", "Bestselling Headphones Alert When Below 50 Units") for easy identification and management later.
- Select activation status: After enabling "Active", the rule will take effect for the selected SP SKUs; if not activated immediately, it can be manually enabled later in the list.

Rule Settings (Both types can be checked simultaneously)
- Type 1: Fixed Value Alert
- Select threshold condition: Set to 「Below」 or 「Above」 a specific fixed value.
- Enter specific threshold: Based on product characteristics and operational needs, fill in the corresponding inventory quantity (e.g., "Below 50 Units", "Above 200 Units").
- Type 2: Safety Stock forecast (AI Intelligent Alert)
- Set stock preparation days: Enter the expected stock preparation cycle (e.g., 7 days, 15 days).
- Rule effectiveness logic: After enabling, the system will statistically analyze the product's recent sales volume in the background. Combined with factors such as seasonal fluctuations and promotional activities, it will synchronize the stock preparation days and relevant data to AI. The system will automatically calculate safety stock recommendations daily and send notifications via the specified method when the alert condition is met.

Set Application Objects
- Click 「Add Product」 to batch select products to which the rule applies.
- Support precise query of individual products via SP SKU for quick association configuration.
- Click 「Save」 to complete the creation of the alert rule, which will be displayed in the Alert Rules List.

Step 2: View Inventory Products List (Alert Products List Module)
Enter the 「Alert Products List」 page to view information about all products with configured inventory alerts. The core displayed content includes: - Basic Information: Warehouse Product, SP SKU - Inventory Data: Available Inventory, In-transit Inventory (products in the process of procurement, processing, or transfer transportation), Reserved Inventory (when a SellingPilot order is incomplete, the corresponding product quantity for the order is temporarily locked), Total Inventory. - Alert Status: Sends a reminder when the available inventory reaches the alert rule threshold.

Step 3: Alert Rules List Management
- Status Control: In the Alert Rules List, you can 「Enable」 or 「Disable」 rules to flexibly control whether the rule takes effect.
- Editing and Modification: Support editing rule configurations such as basic information, threshold conditions, stock preparation days, and application objects to adapt to changes in operational needs.
- Delete Rules: Unneeded alert rules can be directly deleted to keep the list clean and organized.

How to Subscribe to Inventory Alerts
You need to configure notification methods in advance to receive inventory alert reminders. The specific steps are as follows: 1. After logging into the SP system, click 「Settings > System Settings > Notification Preferences > AI Assistant」 in sequence. 2. Find 「Inventory Alert」 in the function list and add the email address and message receiving channels for notifications. 3. After saving the configuration, when the inventory triggers the alert rule, a reminder will be pushed via the configured channels.

Notes
- The application objects of the rule only support selecting SP SKUs that have been entered into the system. Before adding, ensure that the product information has been fully maintained.
- The AI calculation results of safety stock alerts are based on historical data and market trends. It is recommended to fine-tune the stock preparation days in combination with actual operational scenarios to improve alert accuracy.
- If you need to modify the notification receiving method, you can update the configuration at any time by accessing the 「Notification Preferences > Intelligent Assistant」 page, and the changes will take effect immediately.
- Fixed value alerts and safety stock alerts can be enabled simultaneously. The system will judge the alert conditions according to their respective configuration logics, providing double protection for inventory control effects.
