Add product
Function Introduction
Adding a product refers to entering product information into the SellingPilot product master list, which allows for subsequent operations such as publishing and shelving across different channels.
What is the total product list of SP?
The product master table refers to the place where products are managed in the SP system, without including the listing logic of any platform; products added to SP can be claimed, edited, and then published to channels for sale.
Note: Claiming a product from the master product list does not represent the listing channel, it only generates a draft on the listing page of the SP system.
Use the guide
User have four ways to add products to the SP system:
Method 1: Create Manually
Manually create, that is, enter product information one by one on the SP page:
-
Basic Information: The basic information of the product itself will be synchronized to the channel upon claiming, please fill it out accurately.
-
Description: Refers to the five-point description and detailed description, users can use AI-generated information to fill in.
-
Attribute: The attribute value information of the product, maintained only by the user in the SP system, will not be synced to the channel.
-
Image: Up to 30 images can be uploaded, and the number of images will be reduced according to the requirements when claiming the channel.
Method 2: Collecting Products
Product collection refers to the process of obtaining product information from Amazon or Walmart websites and importing it into the SP system for management or resale, typically including the following information:
- Product title description:The page has a built-in AI generated description, users can input title keywords and then click AI generate, it can simultaneously optimize the five-point description and product details.
- Product specifications:The collected product parameters will be directly displayed in the attribute bar.
- Images:Pictures collected from the website are displayed here synchronously, with a maximum of 30 images
- A+Content(Currently only partially supports templates for Amazon channels):If the collected product has A page, the A Content will be displayed in the description section.ClickLearn Moreto see the currently supported A+ template styles. If there is no A+ content or you are not satisfied with the currently collected A+ content, you can also click to switch and change an ASIN to re-collect A+ content.
Step One: Enter the product URL
Amazon supports links and ASIN, while Walmart supports URL import. Users can directly input multiple product links or ASINs in the interface for import, with multiple products separated by line breaks.
User can also collect data using Excel by entering the URL or ASIN in the spreadsheet, saving it, and uploading it to the SP system.
Step two: Begin collection
SP will start collecting based on the information entered by the user. After the collection is completed, it will generally be displayed at the top of the product summary (if not, please check the filter settings or the sorting rules by date).
Note: If the collected products already exist in the master list (including products in the deleted list), the collection will fail.
Method 3: Store Import
Store import means synchronizing all product lists from authorized stores. This data will exist simultaneously in both the product master list and the listing list. There are two situations for store import:
-
Automatic import:After the user authorizes the store for the first time, SP will automatically synchronize all product lists of that account and the orders from the past 90 days (sales orders and after-sales orders).
-
Manual Sync:After the user clicks the sync button from the shop, a manual sync action is triggered. For existing products, if the option to sync product information is checked, a full sync of product information will occur; if not checked, only the status, price, and inventory will be synced.
Note: When syncing products from various stores to SP, if the SKU# is the same, multiple entries will be created in the SP product master list (the listings will display normally). Therefore, if you need to merge the same SKUs, please contact customer service.
Method 4: Batch Add in Excel
User can input product information in bulk via Excel. The red font in the template indicates required fields, but it is recommended that users fill in more detailed content, as basic information will be automatically copied to the draft when it is assigned to the channel.
If you are unclear about any field or requirement, you can check the Definition in the template.
