Automatic Price Adjustment

Feature Introduction

Automatic Price Adjustment is an intelligent price management tool provided by SP. By creating customized price adjustment rules and integrating dimensions such as competitor prices, time cycles, and own store prices, it enables automatic adjustment of product selling prices. Without manual intervention, it can quickly adapt to market changes, align with operational strategies, and ensure price competitiveness and operational efficiency.

This feature supports three modes: Competitor Pricing Adjustment, Scheduled Price Adjustment, and Price Synchronization. It operates through the method of "creating rules + associating products", adapting to scenarios such as market competition, advertising linkage, and multi-store management, which is efficient and flexible.

Feature Entry

After logging into the SP system, click 「Products > Product Tools > Auto Price」 in sequence to enter the main function page.

The main function page includes two core modules:

  • Price Adjustment Rules: Used to create, edit, and delete price adjustment logic rules.
  • Price Adjustment List: Used to associate products with rules, set execution conditions, and manage all price adjustment tasks.

Usage Guide

Click 「Add Rule」 and select one of the following three rule types according to your needs to complete the basic logic configuration:

All price adjustment tasks need to be created in the 「Price Adjustment List」. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Click 「New Price Adjustment」 to enter the task configuration page.
  2. Select Target Products: Check the products for which you want to execute the price adjustment task.
  3. Associate Rules: Select the corresponding price adjustment logic from the created rules.
  4. Set the Price From:
    • For 「Competitor Price Adjustment Rules」: Select competitors already added in the Price Tracking feature, or directly click "Add Competitor" to jump to Price Tracking and add new competitors.
    • For 「Scheduled Price Adjustment Rules」: No additional price source settings are required; execution follows the rule presets.
    • For 「Price Synchronization Rules」: Select products already listed in own authorized stores, and you can accurately match them by filtering by store name or SKU.
  5. Configure Price Restrictions (Optional): Set the 「Minimum Price」 and 「Maximum Price」 range to avoid prices exceeding expected limits and ensure profits.

  2. Execution Tracking: You can manually promote task execution to facilitate setting the price adjustment progress.

Notes

  1. Complete relevant authorizations before creating rules: Complete store authorization to associate own stores, and add competitor information in the 「Price Tracking」 feature first to associate competitors.
  2. Price restrictions are optional configurations. It is recommended to set them based on cost and profit expectations to avoid excessive price fluctuations.
  3. After submitting a price adjustment task, the system will automatically execute it according to the rules (scheduled execution time is based on the PST time zone), and you can also manually trigger 「Execution」 in the list.
  4. Currently, only items with the same currency can be associated.
  5. After modifying the price adjustment content each time, if the task status is 「Enabled」, the system will trigger execution immediately.
