Overview of Features

In e-commerce operations, sellers may need to split orders for separate shipments in scenarios such as:

  • Logistics Restrictions: Certain items require separate shipping due to size, weight, or special delivery requirements.
  • ......

Prerequisites

  • The order status must be Pending or To-Ship.
  • The order must contain more than one product or one unit.
  • Combined orders cannot be split.
  • The order must be seller-fulfilled.

How to User

Creating Split Order

Step 1: Split an Order

Go to the Order List or Order Details page. In the action column of an eligible order, click "Split Order". images images

On pop-up window SP will automatically split the order into multiple sub-orders. Users can add or remove sub-orders as needed. However, if only two orders remain, deleting one will automatically cancel the split operation. images

① Add more sub-orders – The maximum number of sub-orders allowed equals the total product quantity.

② Remove unnecessary sub-orders – If the user deletes the second-to-last order, the system will cancel the split. images

③ Channel Order Number – Click to open the order details page.

Step 2: Order Fulfillment

Once an order is split, the sub-orders can be shipped just like regular orders. The order list and details page will display a split order tag to indicate that the order has been split.

Note: Split orders do not automatically apply logistics rules. What are logistics rules?

Users can also use the "Order Type" filter to quickly find split orders.

For split sub-orders, all amounts—except for the subtotal—are inherited from the original order.

Split orders do not support purchasing shipping labels from the platform.

Edit/Cancel Split Order

If a split order has not been shipped (i.e., still in Pending or To-Ship status), users can edit or cancel the split. Each split sub-order can be individually edited, and changes will apply to the entire split order.

Editing can only be done from the order list.

Canceling a split order is done by removing sub-orders in the "Edit Order" section.
