List Products on Newegg
Overview
Listing an Newegg product refers to the process where users, through the SellingPilot platform, successfully synchronize and publish product information to their Newegg store, making the product ready for display and sales on Newegg.
Before listing products, please make sure that a valid Newegg store has been authorized in the SP. How to authorize Newegg Store in SP?
- Store Migration: If your products are from Amazon, eBay or Walmart (importing or sync from store), you can use SP’s Store Migration feature to quickly publish products on the Newegg platform.
- Generating Draft: This method involves generating draft, editing, and publishing products manually. In this guide, we will focus on publishing products using the standard process.
User Guide
Step 1: Generate Draft
In the product pool list, users can find the products they want to publish to Newegg. They can either generate draft individually or select multiple products for bulk generating. Generating draft means creating a draft for the product in the Newegg listing without publishing it live.
When generating draft, SP will by default sync the product’s basic information—such as title, description, bullet points, and images—into the listing. Therefore, it is recommended that users complete the product information as much as possible in the product pool list.
Products in the product pool can be claimed to different channels or stores, and can also be claimed multiple times to the same store.
When generating draft, subcategory is required:
-
Auto Mapping: Auto Mapping uses AI to match Amazon or Walmart product categories and map attributes to Newegg, enabling one-click cross-platform listing.
This feature is only available on product source is Amazon, eBay or Walmart.
-
Manual Category Selection: Users can browse the category list or search by keywords.
Publish Directly means Create and activate item on store directly without draft review when this be checked!
Step 2: Edit Listing
After a product is generated draft to an Newegg store, you may need to modify or edit its information. How do you access the product editing page?
- Once sucessfully generating draft the product, click Next to go directly to the listing editing page.
- Click the small triangle next to the product pool list to expand, then click the store name.
- Use the top menu (Product>Listing Management>Newegg), then navigate to the Drafts section. Find the listing you want to list and click its title to enter the edit page.

Step 3: Save&Publish
When all information is complete, the user can choose Save, which will only store the data in the SP without publishing to any channel; or choose Save&Publish to attempt creating the listing and uploading it to the Newegg backend.
Creating and listing a product in SP are submitted together, so if any information is missing that prevents listing, the product creation will also fail.
Users can also select multiple or all products for bulk publishing.
After publishing, the product will enter the Processing. If the listing is created and activated successfully, it will move to the “Active” status. If the process fails, it will return to the Draft. Users can view the specific error messages, make corrections, and then republish.
FAQs
Q: Why are all my newly listed products in inactive state?
Q: Per Newegg policy, newly created products undergo system risk control review. If certain keywords trigger the risk control, the product will be Under Review. Some products are automatically reviewed and approved, while others require manual review. You can try listing the product again 30 minutes after creation. If it still fails, please email mktp.content@newegg.com for manual review.
Q: What does it mean when it says the brand does not exist when publishing a product?
A:Per Newegg policy, all product brands must exist in the Seller Portal system. Please check whether your brand matches the brand name (manufacturer name) in Newegg’s system.
How to check brands in Newegg system?
If Newegg indicates that the brand is restricted, it means the brand requires approval before it can be sold. Sellers need to submit the necessary documents for review according to Newegg’s requirements.
How to apply for selling a restricted brand?
Q: My product is in SBN stock, so why isn’t it appearing on the listing?
A: After successfully authorizing the store, the SP system will not automatically sync the SBN inventory. Users need to go to Warehouse > Platform Warehouse > SBN Warehouse to authorize and obtain the inventory. More details
Q: When I sync items from store, why Newegg variations shows individual listings. Other platforms are all good.
A: Newegg's external API does not support variant display and bundling. If you need to create bundled variants, please do so directly in the Newegg Seller Portal. Here is a reference link:
How to add new variants to existing listing one by one?
How to bulk group existing products?
Q: Why is the inventory of listings listed on Newegg showing as 0 and not matching the data in SP?
A: Due to Newegg's external API limitations, when creating products from the ERP, only inventory from the USA warehouse will be synchronized. For example, if a product in SP has 10 units in the USA warehouse and 10 units in the CHN warehouse, the listing in Newegg’s backend will only show 10 units for the USA warehouse, while CHN inventory will be 0. Therefore, if you create a product using a non-USA warehouse, please make sure to update the inventory information promptly.
